Supply Chain Coordinator

for our Operations team, to ensure our products are manufactured and delivered in a timely manner to both UK and international customers. The successful candidate will also be responsible for liaising with our warehousing and logistics partners, as well as ensuring clear customer communication is maintained throughout the sales process.

Role Responsibilities:



Sales Order Handling including customer requests for freight quotations and optimise transport modes when required. Organise transport of goods to UK and international destinations, including freight, Customs, and documentation. Support Operations team in planning and arranging incoming raw materials and intermediates, including imports. Liaise with logistics agents and coordinate with external warehouses to ensure dispatches are scheduled and customer satisfaction is upheld. Track shipments and proactively resolve delays or logistics issues. Update and monitor stock inventory, track incoming & outgoing warehouse stock and alert management of reorder requirements. Conduct periodic stock checks and reconcile discrepancies. Develop knowledge of logistics processes and regulatory requirements to contribute to ongoing improvements in the business. Share responsibility with other users for high workplace Health and Safety, and Quality Management standards in shared office/laboratory premises. Participate flexibly in other business activities as may be required in a small, agile business.

Role Requirements - Qualification, Knowledge, Experience and Skills:



Essential:



Experience of working in a relevant role in business operations or administration Strong IT literacy including knowledge of MS Office applications such as Outlook, Excel and Word. Team player but able to work independently without close supervision. Attention to detail with good record keeping and organisational skills. Excellent communication skills, fluent written and spoken English. Must have the right to work in the UK.

Desirable:



Valid full UK driving licence. Experience of working in a B2B customer facing role in logistics. Experience of using QuickBooks or similar accounting software. Experience of working collaboratively with external partners. Working knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management systems.
