We are looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join our Supply Chain team to support and manage existing customer relationships, take an involvement in Planning and ensure smooth and efficient stock management processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Optimising stock, achieving a balance, minimising excess while avoiding stockouts.
Delivering excellence, aligning inventory with demand while building lasting partnerships.
Driving collaboration, working closely with sales, customers and internal teams to unlock opportunities and ensure mutual success.
Responsible for ensuring customer materials queries and issues are answered in a timely manner.
Resolve Customer issues related to delivery performance, and assist with invoice and pricing variance queries
Keep inventory levels at a minimum without disrupting production schedule requirements
Work with Customers to manage lead times and minimum order quantities (MOQs), optimising inventory levels
Communicate with internal stakeholders to align order status with inventory needs
Monitor open orders and proactively resolve customer delays, discrepancies, or shortages
Contribute to process improvements to enhance production and planning efficiencies
Participate in production planning to ensure seamless alignment between customer stock and manufacturing schedules
Perform general administrative tasks to support the team and maintain efficient operations
Communicating any materials or BOM issues with the relevant stakeholders in a promptly manner
Work with suppliers and analyse data to ensure product availability and optimisation of stock levels.
Using the systems to track and monitor pending orders and lead times to ensure products are received on time.
Monitoring and reporting on supplier performance, providing strategies to improve shortfalls.
Key Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years' experience in a Supply Chain Coordinator-level position
Proven exposure to working with customers to ensure timely delivery of goods
Strong IT skills including ERP Systems and Demonstratable Excel ability is essential
Experience of supply chain coordination including having had involvement in planning is highly desirable
Flexible with your approach, confident speaking to numerous stakeholders and naturally organised.
Experience in a high-volume environment is ideal
Excellent communication skills with a collaborative approach to working with internal teams and suppliers
Positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow
Ability to prioritise workload.
Offer data-driven insights with strong numerical and analytical abilities to make informed decisions.
Communication and teamwork--bridging the gap between departments and customers.
Numerical, analytical and have a keen attention to detail?
Strong relationship skills are essential for working with suppliers and internal colleagues in other functions within the company.
The role requires a highly organised approach and the ability to prioritise as the day unfolds.
