Job Description

Our operation based in Bulwell has an exciting opportunity for an Supply Chain Co-Ordinator Sub -Contract Machining. This is an on site role supporting the Supply Chain team, with day to day management and scheduling of Sub-Contract Machining in both UK and Asia regions, liaising on a daily/weekly basis via teams calls etc.

Responsibilities



Liaising with internal stakeholders - Production/customer facing teams to meet customer demand. Liaising with suppliers, as needed to confirm or change orders. Track orders and ensure timely delivery. Update internal databases with order details etc. Preparation of KPI's and performance trend analysis. Preparations RFQ and transfer plans to potential suppliers on Internal strategic offloads to support capacity constraints and cost savings etc. Prepare cost analyses & RFQ's on NPI. Monitor stock levels, WIP and identify purchasing needs. Raising works orders in line with ERP requirements. Generating PO's, Preparation of commercial invoices for overseas shipments of free issue materials to suppliers, arranging logistics etc. Liaising with suppliers, as needed to confirm or change orders. Core Skills



Work experience in a purchasing/supply chain environment or similar role ideal but not essential Good understanding of supply chain procedures Strong organizational skills Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing Strong MS Office knowledge Tenacity and initiative Degree or 2 years relevant work experience
This is entry into a fast-growing Tier 1 Aerospace supply chain, as such there will be a strong focus on personal and career development of the successful candidate. The aim of the team is to achieve >95% of goods on time and to target cost while managing a 25-50% increase in spend over the next 2 years.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 29,000.00 per year
