Finance Analyst role in Supply Chain working across Valeo Snack Foods. To act as partner to Head of Supply Chain and area leaders (e.g. 3PL Manager, Warehouse Manager, Head of Planning etc) alongside Supply Chain Controller covering key aspects of Supply Chain performance, analysis to establish diagnostics and drivers on performance, project delivery for savings, month end accounting and analysis and other tasks as captured in key accountabilities. Key Accountabilities

  • Build relationships between Supply Chain Finance and Supply Chain particularly with Head of Logistics and relevant cost area leaders as required (e.g., 3PL Manager, Warehouse Manager, Head of Planning) to effectively support Supply Chain cost control and improvement
  • Detailed analysis and reporting to support Supply Chain leadership, including relevant weekly and monthly reporting vs Budget and/or Latest Estimates. Insight and Analysis of Supply Chain effectiveness by reporting on key operational KPIs, service level, warehouse capacity truck fill, pallet movements, stock take controls/adjustment etc.
  • Lead involvement in Supply Chain project financial analysis (eg. covering capital, continuous improvement, performance tracking, network/routing changes, stock-holding improvements etc.). Analysis will include both diagnostics (evaluating specific KPIs with Supply Chain team) and financials (spend and cash) to determine operational performance opportunities and track delivery in execution. Defining/aligning on priority opportunities and projects is a key VSF Division priority for FY24
  • Financial governance and leadership related to Stock with Supply Chain partners to ensure strong operational controls in place for monthly results, executional delivery on stock-holding improvement projects, and support as required for Year End Stock auditing
  • Involvement with Supply Chain team to confirm/support costings as needed for relevant routes to Market in partnership with Costings/Change Management resource
  • Continuously look for ways to improve processes across Supply Chain and drive cost savings into the business
  • Work as part of the Finance team, sharing learnings, and complying with the financial controls and reporting timetables in line with business requirements
  • Ensure completion of month end to deadlines within your scope of responsibility, providing commentary as needed to explain performance/variances for your areas.
  • Completion and ownership of accurate and controlled balance sheet reconciliations
  • Supporting Audit Requirements for Year End Compliance
  • Other Finance related support / project work as required


Qualifications
  • Ideally ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
  • Evidence of growth and increased responsibility taken on in current role, backing up ambitions and drive to grow and develop as an individual
  • Food industry or commercial environment experience preferred but not essential
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced working environment
  • Good / Advanced Excel skills essential and ERP systems literate (preferred but not essential)
