Supply Chain Flow Cell Leader

Prestwick, SCT, GB, United Kingdom

Job Description

Summary

===========================

Are you a natural problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced environments--and someone who believes that great leadership means building people as much as processes?

We're looking for a Supply Chain Flow Cell Leader to take full ownership of our material flow operations. In this critical role, you'll lead cross-functional logistics teams, ensure flawless movement of materials from receipt to production, and coach your team toward continuous improvement. You won't just keep things running--you'll make them run better every day.

This is your chance to lead from the front, shape scalable systems, and build a high-performance culture rooted in accountability, collaboration, and growth.

===================

What You'll Lead, Improve, and Coach:

-----------------------------------------

End-to-End Material Flow - Oversee the complete journey of materials--from incoming inspection to final accumulation--ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and availability for production. Team Leadership & Coaching - Manage and mentor our Receipt Inspection, Stores, and Accumulation teams, empowering them through structured coaching and continuous improvement methods. Process Optimization - Use GE's FLIGHTDECK system to monitor material flow, detect bottlenecks, and implement smart, sustainable improvements that enhance productivity. Visibility & Accountability - Maintain real-time tracking and transparent reporting of all material movements across departments and storage areas. Collaborative Communication - Act as a central point of contact across departments, resolving flow issues quickly and proactively. Continuous Improvement Culture - Drive a culture of excellence by encouraging problem-solving at the source, developing standard work, and embedding lean principles into daily operations. Inventory Integrity - Champion initiatives to improve inventory accuracy, ownership, and site-wide material availability. Safety & Compliance - Ensure that all team activities follow internal procedures and safety regulations to the letter.

What You Bring to the Role:

-------------------------------

Proven Supply Chain Experience - A background in logistics, warehousing, or material flow management, ideally within a manufacturing or repair setting. Leadership That Inspires - A hands-on leader who motivates, coaches, and grows high-performing teams. Continuous Improvement Mindset - Skilled in lean principles, root cause analysis, and driving measurable operational improvements. Detail-Focused, Outcome-Oriented - You know how to zoom in on the details without losing sight of what matters most. Tech-Savvy & Data-Driven - Comfortable using logistics systems, inventory software, and tools like Excel and Power BI to analyze and act. Excellent Communication Skills - Capable of building alignment across teams and clearly reporting on challenges, solutions, and progress.

Ready to Lead What's Next?

------------------------------

This is your opportunity to lead not just operations--but people, progress, and potential. If you're ready to shape the future of supply chain performance and build a culture of continuous improvement, we'd love to hear from you.
