What you'll be doing:

Overseeing daily operations of the BAE Systems Transport team, providing the interface between the Supply Chain and its customers while ensuring compliance with Operators License Undertakings Providing mentorship and support to Team Leaders to enhance their decision-making skills Implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team performance and operational efficiency Driving SHE initiatives and fostering team wellbeing to promote a culture of integrity and responsible actions Managing Team resources and activities to satisfy project schedule demands, goals and objective

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:


Demonstrated experience in a Road Haulage environment, encompassing transport planning and ensuring compliance with Operators License Undertakings Experience in leading diverse teams, with a focus on people management and their professional development Experienced in stakeholder management and fostering effective engagement to achieve collaborative outcomes

Desirable:


Certificate of Professional competence in Road haulage Certificate of Professional competence in Passenger Carrying Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor
