We're looking for a Loss Prevention Officer (LPO) to join the team within our Regional Logistics centre in Crewe and work in collaboration with our 3PL who run the operation of the building!


As the Loss Prevention Officer you will ensure the site is operating effectively in order to provide a safe place to work whilst preventing crime! You will lead site visitors, ensuring they are aware of the site safety rules, conduct security patrols, resolving or advancing any faults or issues, as well as any other ad hoc activities which support compliance checks and help keep people safe.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct site patrols both physical and virtual using the CCTV system to maximise security Investigate instances of external crime. Identify and record crime alerts, raising concerns as appropriate Report and call out all incidents of violence and aggression Support the duty manager in responding to incidents that occur on site Conduct regular checks of Loss Prevention equipment and physical security systems reporting faults as the need arises Maintain access control systems by creating and renewing passes and deleting access for site leavers Conduct spot checks and associate searches as a deterrent to internal crime Records alert signals that arrive on site from wider supply chain
