In addition, we have a growing media sector through its RocketGro Ltd brand and contract packing business, supplying high-quality peat free composts, soil blends, and horticultural substrates to domestic homes, commercial growers, garden center's, and retailers nationwide. RocketGro with +3 million annual turnover and strong year-on-year growth, we are looking to strengthen our management team and operational capability by hiring a locally based Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimize our supply chain functions.
As
Supply Chain Manager
, you hold a
CPC
, have extensive
ADR
experience in road tanker operations and be responsible for managing and improving all aspects of our UK based fleet and supply chain. This includes customer and supplier management, driver route planning, legal compliance, raw material procurement, production planning, logistics coordination, and finished goods inventory control.
This is a hands-on role the requires both strategic thinking and day-to-day execution in a dynamic and very seasonal business.
Supplier management and raw material procurement
Production planning and scheduling
Logistics coordination and transport planning
Finished goods inventory management
Working closely with the Managing Director, Composting Manager, commercial, and customer service teams
Hold a CPC and have extensive ADR experience
What We're Looking For
Strong supply chain and operations management experience (ideally in manufacturing, agriculture, horticulture, or FMCG)
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach
Ability to balance strategic planning with day-to-day operations
Strong communication and relationship management skills

In addition, day to day working with the Engineering Manager, Composting Manager, commercial team, and customer service teams to ensure reliable and cost-effective of Co2 and growing media to our customers across the UK.
