Supply Chain Manager - Manufacturing - Cheshire

As the Supply Chain Manager you will:

  • Map out the E2E supply chain currently in place, and work with stakeholders (internal & external) to evaluate expectations and capability to support the development of the function. This will include inbound and out bound logistics, planning (supply, production, and demand), purchasing, and warehouse functions for the Cheshire site
  • Engage with the current team to understand capability and skill sets. This will include the introduction of appraisals, training support, and performance management
  • Support the overall business strategy and play an actively role as part of the senior management team
  • Drive the change management required to introduce new working practices into the business, gaining support from other leaders, and their teams to sell the benefit
  • Ensure the business has complete visibility / traceablility of the Supply Chain to support sustainable growth

The ideal candidate will be:
  • A proven Supply Chain Manager from a manufacturing environment
  • Highly development management / leadership skills with the ability to mentor / develop teams to achieve high performance and engagement
  • Used to managing the E2E Supply Chain with a working knowledge of logistics, planning (supply, production, and demand), purchasing, and warehouse functions
  • Passionate about Supply Chain and used to supporting businesses to understand efficient ways of working
