Overall control and management of buying department Improve and develop the buying department strategy, processes and protocols. Develop, maintain and improve relationships with key suppliers. Create relationships with new suppliers. Champion "use Local" strategy, working with the ESG manager to explore sustainable solutions for material supply and waste / unused material disposal and local social value opportunities. Explore general sustainable alternatives to materials, fuel and equipment Manage disputes over damage / losses, and critique material supply invoices against standard of service (standing time vs supplier delays) Day to day buying function includes live jobs & tenders supporting the buyer as and when required. Monitor and feedback supplier performance: input into NCR CAR's. Report back to estimators regional cost fluctuations, supplier specific cost increases, and regional blockers (other large projects in the area which could impact on supply and costs to our project). Working with site teams over real-time challenges (supplier/supply issues) & opportunities (new suppliers in the area, innovative solutions). Assist estimators with regional lodging costs. Manage supplier approvals and approved supplier database Establish, maintain and review framework agreements including rebate agreements

Pay: 44,000.00-52,000.00 per year
