Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and driven Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimize our end-to-end supply chain operations. This role is critical to the success of our custom equipment builds, ensuring the timely procurement, delivery, and coordination of components, materials, and subassemblies that span across thermal process systems, control panels, and water treatment technologies.
Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning & Execution
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with project timelines, cost targets, and quality requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineering, project management, and production teams to align material needs with build schedules.
  • Procurement & Vendor Management
  • Source and manage suppliers for custom and off-the-shelf components including valves, piping, instrumentation, controls, electrical panels, heat exchangers, pumps, skids, and water treatment equipment.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships to ensure high quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Monitor supplier performance and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Establish the appropriate OEM status and pricing structures with key vendors
  • Inventory & Logistics
  • Oversee inventory planning, material handling, and storage to ensure efficient flow of goods through the shop.
  • Ensure traceability and documentation for all project-related components and assemblies.
  • Coordinate freight, logistics, and shipping schedules to meet project deadlines.
  • Cost Control & Optimization
  • Monitor and control supply chain costs, identifying opportunities to reduce waste and improve margin.
  • Work closely with accounting to ensure accurate project costing and material tracking.
  • Process Improvement & Compliance
  • Develop SOPs and best practices to streamline procurement, inventory, and materials management.
  • Ensure compliance with company, industry, and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, ASME, UL, etc.).
Qualifications
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of supply chain or procurement experience in a custom manufacturing or fabrication environment.
  • Strong understanding of industrial equipment, thermal process systems, and control technologies.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems and project-based manufacturing workflows.
  • Exceptional negotiation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) components preferred.
  • Knowledge of water treatment equipment and modular skid fabrication is a strong plus.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience working in a job-shop or engineer-to-order (ETO) environment.
  • Ability to read technical drawings, P&IDs, and schematics.
  • Proficient in Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.

Salary Transparency
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $97,000 - $121,000 annually and does not include bonuses, overtime or other forms of compensation or benefits. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
