As Supply Chain Manager, you will be accountable for managing the full UK site supply chain to ensure products are available on time and in full to customers and patients. Operating in a fast paced, constantly changing, and highly regulated environment, the role oversees all site purchasing, forecasting, production planning, and material control to maintain a 99% service level while optimising inventory investment, minimising write offs, and delivering cost savings in line with EBITDA targets.
Duties include, but will not be limited to:
Leading all site purchasing activities, ensuring quality, compliance, and cost efficiency.
Delivering accurate short- and long-term forecasts that align with sales demand, production capacity, and material lead times.
Owning the weekly production plan, ensuring operational alignment, materials readiness, and optimising schedules to minimise changeovers.
Maintaining robust material control processes to prevent shortages, avoid excess stock, and reduce write offs.
Leading capacity planning for each department on site to ensure resources, equipment, and staffing levels are aligned with the production plan and forecasted demand.
Managing the monthly S&OP process at site level, feeding into the Group S&OP process.
Monitoring and reporting monthly on KPI performance including Forecast Accuracy, Service Level, Inventory Value and Duration, Obsolescence, and Supplier Performance.
Identifying supply risks and developing contingency plans to protect service levels and mitigate potential disruptions.
Working closely with production, quality, sales, finance, and global supply chain teams to ensure alignment of plans, priorities, and objectives.
Leading, developing, and coaching the UK Supply Chain team to build capability, improve performance, and support succession planning.
Driving continuous improvement initiatives across service, cost, cash flow, and environmental impact.
Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements for the industry.
Forming proactive relationships cross functionally, internationally, and externally.

As this is a brand-new role, you will be proactive and motivated, carving your own path in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
It is essential you have:
Previous experience in Supply Chain Management, preferably in FMCG, pharmaceutical, or medical sector.
Strong understanding of Forecasting, Supply Planning, Procurement, Inventory Management, S&OP, Logistics, and Capacity Planning.
Proficiency in Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) and ERP systems.
Advanced Excel skills and experience with analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
