Job Summary

Creates, manages, and releases the monthly production plans in line with MRP requirements and the capacity planning model. Maintains planning master data including updates to Bills of materials and routings. Provides product availability dates to customers on a daily and weekly basis. Schedules externally sourced raw material and packaging.

Key Responsibilities

• Plans and schedules the production lines balancing Customer Service, Inventory and Overall Equipment Efficiency and maintaining the master schedule for the firm horizon period.
• Ensures that the targeted level of customer service is maintained for a defined product range
• Accountable for the entire supply chain, from raw material to finished item
• Schedules internally and externally sourced raw material and packaging deliveries in line with MRP requirements, monitoring due date adherence and providing regular forecasts to suppliers.
• Maintains Bills of Materials, work centre routings and routing notes
• Controls days on hand for in house manufactured and purchased products within agreed inventory levels.
• Maintains and monitors the monthly Production attainment file
• Works as team member in project teams for new product launches and operational improvements.
• Accurately and rapidly communicates information to both internal and external customers.
• Demonstrates a high level of integrity and accountability.

Key Requirements

• Planning and Scheduling experience in a fast-moving manufacturing environment.
• Fully conversant with all aspects of the Production Planning, Manufacturing and Purchasing modules of SAP, or similar ERP system
• Purchasing experience is preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Change management involving Systems, Processes and People.

Qualifications/Education

• Educated to GCSE standard - Maths and English
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business or related field is preferred
• APICS or CIPS or similar Supply Chain certification is preferred
