This is a new, exciting, and broad ranging role for an experienced Supply Chain Planning Specialist who has expertise in demand planning and brings the full range of skills required to transform our supply chain and production planning function into a modern, efficient operation that is fit for our ambitious growth plans for the future.
You will have experience of ERP systems, and having relevant qualifications or training, you will either have contributed to modernizing the supply chain operation in the past or have experience of working in one and can demonstrate expertise in these areas.
The Supply Chain Planning Specialist is responsible for ensuring that sufficient stock levels of finished goods, componentry and raw materials are always maintained to meet demand and has primary responsibility for ensuring that key lines are never out of stock and that workflow is prioritized effectively. Overseeing the production schedule, you will liaise primarily with external Manufacturers, Fillers and Suppliers to ensure on time in full delivery whilst keeping control of costs.
You will be required to monitor all Company stock inventory internationally, tracking sales history and forecast data to ensure the sufficient and timely replenishment of goods to ensure a robust stock supply to meet customer demand. Requiring a deep knowledge of the NPD process, manufacturing and supplier logistics, the role-holder will be the company’s expert in all areas of production, demand planning and stock control.
You are a high calibre, international supply chain expert with extensive demand planning experience, ideally in an FMCG/3
party contract manufacture business.
You understand how to improve efficiencies, manage costs, and modernize processes utilizing ERP to maximize performance. A relevant qualification or training in supply chain management is considered highly advantageous (e.g. IoSCM, CPSM, CPIM, CSCP etc).
You are IT savvy, have experience of ERP systems and implementation and other software packages (including SAGE/Excel). You are highly organized, have excellent attention to detail and can demonstrate experience of resolving complex problems and you are flexible in response to changing demands. Above all, you are a committed change agent with a can do, hands on operational attitude possessing the ability to keep all internal and 3rd parties on track.
