Supply Chain Professional

Salary:

Up to 35,000 dependent on skills and experience


What you'll be doing:



Providing support to the Supply Chain team where required throughout the Procurement process including sourcing and managing the supplier base utilising all the tools available e.g. Coupa. Arranging regular meetings and collaborating with other departments, stakeholders, and suppliers Supporting IPS colleagues on Supplier Management and RFQ activities where required Ensuring compliance with all internal and external regulatory process requirements. Providing commercial and supply chain support to the delivery programmes. Raising and approval of PO's Supporting production of documentation for the Supply Chain team. Support the development of supply chain strategies and implementation of plans. Co-ordination throughout the end to end procurement process such that customer and supplier issues are communicated and resolved effectively Report cost savings and cost avoidances

Your skills and experiences:





Essential:


Experience working in supply chain function An understanding of business and procurement approaches, techniques, processes, policy and strategy. Experience of contract and supplier performance management

Desirable:


Client side experience Experience of working in the construction industry Experience in public sector/regulated environments useful Knowledge of JCT and NEC Construction contracts
