The Role:



We are looking for a

Supply Chain Specialist

to support and lead the successful transition to Microsoft Dynamics Business Central while maintaining smooth day-to-day supply chain operations.

You will manage supplier relationships, purchasing activities, and stock control processes, ensuring efficiency and compliance across all aspects of the supply chain whilst transiting to our new system. This is a pivotal role within our Operations team, combining project management, procurement expertise, and systems knowledge to help deliver Viper's business objectives.

Key Responsibilities Include:



Oversee the transition of processes and data from the legacy ERP system to Microsoft Dynamics Business Central. Manage supplier agreements, pricing negotiations, and purchase order accuracy. Maintain high data integrity across MRP and ERP systems. Build and maintain strong supplier relationships and monitor performance through KPIs. Lead procurement for New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, investigating new supply sources. Ensure sufficient stock levels to meet production and sales forecasts. Drive cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement projects. Manage import/export documentation and compliance with company procedures. Support stores operations when required to ensure timely delivery and receipt of goods. Collaborate closely with Engineering, Operations, and Business Development teams.

What We Are Looking For:



Degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant discipline. CIPS qualification (or working towards) or equivalent professional procurement experience. Proven experience using ERP/MRP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics BC). Strong Excel skills and analytical ability. Experience in inventory management and safety stock control. Excellent communication, organisation, and negotiation skills. Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable to change.

Desirable, but not essential:



Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment. Knowledge of ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001) and continuous improvement principles. Familiarity with import/export and logistics documentation.
