We are looking to recruit a passionate, enthusiastic, committed and hard working Supply Nursery Assistant / Educator to join our outstanding team. The ideal candidate will be Level 2 or 3 qualified in Early Years Education (or Children's Care, Learning and Development) having had experience working in an early years setting before, however, we will also consider applicants who do not have any qualifications or experience but who display exceptional level of care, passion and commitment in wanting to work with children.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils and expects all staff to share this commitment. This post is covered by the Childcare Act 2006 and will be exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and two references will also be required. Online checks will be carried out for shortlisted candidates.
This is a supply position with guaranteed hours each week, covering sickness / holiday and other absences in our nursery.
Flexibility is essential as well as willingness and ability to work at a short notice.
Approx. 20-30 hours per week Monday to Friday within the nursery opening hours of 7.45am - 6.00pm, as per the nursery requirements.
There may be an opportunity of the role becoming permanent in the future if successful within their role.
Hourly rate: 13.15
