Role Purpose
The Early Years Unqualified Practitioner will support qualified practitioners in providing high-quality care and learning experiences for children in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). This role is suited to individuals without a formal childcare qualification but with a genuine passion for working with young children and a willingness to learn and develop.
Key Responsibilities
Assist qualified practitioners in delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote children's learning and development.
Support children's care routines, including meals, toileting, rest, and personal hygiene.
Encourage children's independence, confidence, and social skills through play and interaction.
Contribute to creating a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment both indoors and outdoors.
Build warm, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Observe children's play and report any concerns, achievements, or developmental milestones to qualified staff.
Ensure safeguarding, health, and safety procedures are followed at all times.
Take part in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
