The job in a nutshell
This role is based in our Export & Customer Goods Out team, which is an integral part of the Operations department. You will be responsible for processing orders for delivery both within the UK and Internationally, seeing them through to completion. Deliveries can be destined for both bonded warehouses & private address', where the correct documentation must accompany the shipment. Working closely with the Warehouse & Customer service teams, the Supply Planner ensures that all processes are actioned correctly and accordingly to an agreed schedule for final mile.
External: Customers, Freight forwarders, Third party warehouses
What you will do
Responsible for the end-to-end process of all International & Bonded orders
Support the process of BB&R container shipments to Asia & USA, ensuring timely dispatch and compliance with international shipping regulations
Support Brands Ops orders, coordinating with account managers and customers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in order processing
Ensure correct documentation accompanies all orders that are collected or despatched
Follow up delivered orders, ensuring all POD's are received
Organise transport for customer private reserve wines to & from third party warehouses
Arrange necessary method of transport for Export orders
Ensuring SLA's are met for all tasks, including making sure emails are responded to in a timely fashion.
Maintain various operational spreadsheets
Liaising with freight forwarders
Request booking slots with third party warehouses
Work with the Compliance team, freight forwarders & external bonded warehouses to ensure ARC's for bonded movements are closed off correctly and in a timely manner
Ensure multi-warehouse orders are consolidated so customers receive their orders in one delivery
Any task deemed suitable by the Export Manager which will be beneficial to the team

Experience / Achievements
Demonstrating a pro-active attitude, you must be able to work as part of a team and with people at all levels
Working within a busy department meeting deadlines
Experience working within a logistics role is beneficial
Skills / Knowledge
Computer literate with high attention to detail
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
Organised, whilst prioritising workload
Able to make a positive contribution to the team, bringing new ideas and processes to improve
