Our Supply Planner is responsible for ensuring the business has the right amount of inventory to meet demand, which is achieved by demonstrating excellent organisational skills, clear communication to the wider business, and thorough attention to detail.

This is a full-time permanent position, covering 37.5 hours over a Monday to Friday week, based out of CareCo's Braintree site.

What are my responsibilities?



Ensure any administrative issues are identified and provide solutions to rectify them to the Supply Chain Manager. Oversee supplier management across all Import and GB suppliers for CareCo. Responsible for placing purchase orders for group businesses. Collaborating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of Purchase Orders. Improving supply chain processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency. Identifying supply chain risks and providing strategies to mitigate them. Develop your ongoing awareness of industry activity and supply chain market conditions. Respond to queries using the telephone, e-mail, and face-to-face communications. Participate in communications of current and future processes put in place to optimise time management and inspire idea sharing.

What qualifications & skills are required of me?



GCSE C/5 or above in English & Mathematics. Previous experience in Supply Planning or a procurement-based role. Ability to demonstrate strong analytical skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Highly organised, with an emphasis on time management. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel - e.g. complex data analysis and modelling, advanced formulas.

Experience:

supply planning or procurement: 1 year (preferred)
