Join Our Team as a Supply Planner - Sheffield




Are you passionate about turning data into actionable insights that drive supply chain excellence? We're looking for a proactive and analytical Supply Planner to join our team in Sheffield. In this role, you'll be responsible for gathering and streamlining key data from multiple systems to support the Business Unit (BU), while developing efficient processes that enhance data collection and analysis.


You'll provide critical analytical support across the area, championing the use of standardized supply chain tools and driving consistency. Working closely with stakeholders in Operations, Finance, Sales, and Customer Service, you'll contribute to S&OP data preparation, support improvement initiatives, and help deliver profitable growth and outstanding service.


This role also supports all areas under the BU Supply Chain Director/Senior Manager, offering a fantastic opportunity to make a broad impact across the business.



RESPONSIBILITIES

Master Planning Support



Assist in preparing reports and insights for production planning. Manage system transactions to keep production plans running smoothly. Join planning meetings and contribute to discussions. Provide ad-hoc support to the Master Planner and Supply Chain Manager.

S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning)



Attend key S&OP meetings and help drive alignment across teams. Prepare reports and presentations that bring data to life. Coordinate communications and admin tasks to keep the S&OP process on track.

Finished Goods Purchasing



Support analysis of purchasing needs for finished goods. Handle system transactions and reporting for purchase orders. Communicate with vendors to ensure timely and accurate supply.

Forecasting



Collaborate with the forecasting team to collect, review, and report data. Update systems with the latest forecast information. Share forecasting reports across the business. Maintain monthly Flash data updates.

Inventory Management



Help create and distribute inventory reports. Participate in monthly inventory review meetings.

Projects & Continuous Improvement



Be an active team member on supply chain projects. Support reporting and admin for project activities. Assist with tech transfers within the business unit. Analyse supply chain KPIs and highlight areas for improvement. Champion continuous improvement to boost efficiency and deliver savings.






QUALIFICATIONS

A sharp eye for detail

and a genuine enthusiasm for working with data.

Excellent communication and organisational skills

- you're someone who keeps things moving and keeps everyone informed.

A collaborative mindset

- you enjoy working with others and are always open to learning.

Experience with supply chain planning systems

or processes is a bonus. A

Bachelor's degree

or equivalent experience in supply chain, logistics, or a related field. Familiarity with

SAP or other ERP systems

is preferred. Confident using

Microsoft Office applications

, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
