The Role




The

Supply Planner

is responsible for the operational

purchase to pay process

ensuring the availability of a defined packaging material category for a European MW factory or set of co packers while controlling the inventory value and preventing obsolescence.


This is achieved by

managing the replenishment strategy and inventory policy

for their portfolio in collaboration with suppliers and commercial; You will collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders to drive improvements and solve exceptions.


Accountability for managing supply disruption driven by internal or external source and propose/execute alternative solutions though crisis management and scenario planning

? What We're Looking For



Proven experience in logistics and supply chain management

, demonstrating a strong operational background.

In-depth knowledge of end-to-end (E2E) planning processes

, including expertise with SAP ERP and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.

Solid understanding of Lean methodologies

, Six Sigma principles, and root cause analysis techniques such as the 5 Whys.

Excellent active listening skills with the ability to connect

and build upon others' ideas collaboratively.

Proficient in English

with excellent communication skills.

Exceptional attention to detail

coupled with a strong commitment to data accuracy and integrity

Key Responsibilities



Develops, implements, and manages replenishment strategies and system parameters

for all packaging materials at the manufacturing site, ensuring alignment with inventory policies for both short- and mid-term purchasing needs.

Proactively recommends and coordinates changes

with internal and external stakeholders to optimize supply chain processes.

Analyzes SAP and Kinaxis MRP projections

to create purchase orders, effectively balancing cash flow and service levels.

Oversees Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI)

supplier performance through regular reviews, fostering strong relationships, and communicating forecasts or significant changes with suppliers and commercial teams.

Ensures data integrity and high-quality housekeeping

in planning systems, maintaining accurate material planning information.

Incident tracking and conducting root cause analysis

(RCA) for critical issues, collaborating across stakeholder groups to drive resolution.

Partners with schedulers and production planners

to resolve material constraints, and works with Supply Network Planners and Commercial teams to evaluate alternative strategies for non-capacity material challenges.
