About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate
SEN Supply Teacher
to join our team, supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs across SEN school settings. This flexible role offers you the opportunity to make a real difference in pupils' lives while enjoying variety and autonomy in your work.
You will be responsible for delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to meet the needs of learners with diverse abilities, including those with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, and other learning difficulties.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality, inclusive lessons that cater to individual learning needs.
Adapt teaching strategies and materials to support pupils with SEN.
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and support staff.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively to create a safe and positive learning environment.
Maintain accurate records and contribute to pupil progress reviews when required.
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience working with pupils with SEN or specialist settings.
Strong classroom management and differentiation skills.
A patient, empathetic, and adaptable teaching style.
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
