About Us
TIFA Life provides high-quality accommodation and support for young people across South Wales. We are looking for a reliable, practical person to join our team in Swansea who can carry out regular young person check-ins, light maintenance/handyman tasks, and provide flexible on-call cover when needed.
Role Responsibilities
Carry out scheduled check-ins with young people in supported accommodation
Complete light maintenance/handyman jobs around properties (basic repairs, minor fixes, etc.)
Be available on-call for urgent situations (rota-based)
Provide reports/updates to the Service Manager after visits
Work independently, managing your own time and travel between properties
Requirements
Own car or van (mileage paid)
Able to pass an Enhanced DBS check (we can arrange this)
Practical maintenance/handyman skills
Flexible and reliable, able to respond to on-call needs
Good communication skills and a supportive approach
