About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated

Support Worker

to provide essential care and assistance to a female client in her home. This is a rewarding role where you will make a genuine difference every day, ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity while promoting independence.

The position involves 12-hour day and night shifts, supporting a client who values meaningful engagement and enjoys family involvement in her care.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality personal care, including support with bathing, dressing, and meal preparation. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor for any changes in health or wellbeing. Support with mobility and encourage independence wherever possible. Engage the client in social and recreational activities, including family outings, to promote emotional wellbeing. Maintain accurate daily care records and report any concerns promptly to your line manager. Ensure the client's environment is safe, clean, and comfortable at all times. Drive the client to appointments or social activities when required.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

Previous experience providing care in a home environment.

Preferred:

Knowledge of dementia care and complex care needs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work calmly, with patience and empathy. Confident in preparing meals and supporting individual dietary needs. A valid

UK driving licence

(required to transport the client). Must have the

right to work in the UK
