Overview

We are a computer software business specialising in the sale & support of accounting software, and we have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Support Desk Technician to join our team.

This role will be officed based Monday to Friday, working with a small and friendly team in Trent, Dorset.

The areas of work will include:

Develop a strong working knowledge of Sage 200 to effectively support end users. Ensure high customer satisfaction through problem-solving and support, liaising with customers via phone, email, and remote sessions. Becoming an expert in how to use Microsoft SQL databases. Learn and understand the database structure and design of Sage 200. Understand the concepts of report designing using the Sage Report Designer. Deliver SQL views and custom report layouts for customers using Sage 200.

About you:

Strong communication skills. A customer-focused attitude and attention to detail. Happy to work in a small team. Accounts experience desirable (but not required).
This role could suit someone looking for an exciting change of direction or someone taking the first step in their career. You will need to be organised, logical, and confident talking on the phone to customers. You'll receive full training to develop the skills and confidence to perform your role effectively.

Salary negotiable depending on experience.
