JN Civils Ltd is a civil engineering company providing utilities infrastructure for Gas, Water, Telecoms and Electric to leaders in the utilities sector. Due to expansion, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join our ever-growing team of professionals within our Gas utilities division.
The role is for a Support Driver Based out of Preston covering local areas.
We are looking for a Support Driver with a can-do attitude. Must be flexible and available to work day shifts with occasional weekend work when required. Full UK driving licence is essential, Towing Experience beneficial with the main vehicle being a 3T Flat bed Pick up.
Day to day duties include:
Responsible for the day-to-day onsite logistics of our operational sites
Reporting to the Site Manager
Responsible for the mobilisation and de-mobilisation of Operational Sites
Providing the Operational Teams with SLG Equipment and GAS Materials to enable on site operations
Applicants must hold a valid Streetworks, emergency first aid and manual handling.
As per our driver induction policy; any new starters must have the below;
Valid UK Driving Licence for the vehicle classification you may be required to drive
Minimum of 3 years driving experience
No more than 6 penalty endorsements
No CD, CU80, DD, DR, DG, IN offences
In return we offer a competitive salary on a self-employed basis with a UTR number.
