As a Support & Installation Engineer, you'll work alongside experienced engineers on a range of high-end residential and commercial building control projects. This role offers a blend of system support and maintenance, on-site installation, system integration, and commissioning -- with a strong focus on lighting controls and audio-visual systems and building control systems.
What You'll Do
Provide system maintenance, installation, configuration, and commissioning of automation systems including:
DALI & DMX lighting control systems
Smart building control systems utilising KNX
Control4 home automation
CCTV & security systems
Building Management Systems using CODESYS controllers
Carry out preventative maintenance, programming, and ongoing system support
Support commissioning, troubleshooting, and client handovers
Prepare and install lighting control equipment, AV racks and control panels for site deployment
Assist with lighting system commissioning, configuration, and optimisation
Maintain clear technical documentation and records
You'll gain first-hand experience working on lighting, AV, and building control systems across luxury homes, hotels, amazing hospitality spaces, and commercial buildings.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
Genuine enthusiasm for technology and a desire to learn.
Previous on-site experience in electrical, AV, or technical systems installation.
Practical, hands-on mindset with willingness to work on-site.
Problem-solving attitude and strong attention to detail.
Good communication skills and teamwork.
Right to work in the UK
Full and clean UK driving licence.
Highly Desirable:
Experience in installing or commissioning lighting control, building automation or audio-visual systems.
Electrical or other technical qualifications
CSCS Card
