We're looking for kind, calm and emotionally attuned Support Mentors to join our small, passionate team at The Willows Child Development, an alternative provision for children and young people aged 5-16 who often struggle to access mainstream settings due to autism, ADHD, trauma or mental health needs.
We offer nature-based learning, trauma-informed support, and a completely child-led approach rooted in compassion and curiosity. This is not your average education job, we prioritise play, relationships, and emotional safety.
The role includes:
1:1 and small group support
Outdoor learning and creative sessions
Co-regulation, connection and emotional support
Input into reflective planning and holistic support
We're looking for someone who:
? Has experience with SEND/SEMH
? Understands trauma and neurodiversity
? Is calm, playful, and emotionally resilient
? Can build safe, trusting relationships
