Location: Canterbury, Kent

Hours: 36 per week

Contract Type: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Our designated domestic abuse services is currently looking for a Support Officer to join their dynamic and friendly team in Canterbury, Kent. In a nutshell, you\xe2\x80\x99ll provide an effective support service to customers with additional needs in designated services.

You\xe2\x80\x99ll facilitate access for people with additional support needs / multiple disadvantages into Clarion\xe2\x80\x99s Supported Housing services who, without additional support, we may not be able to accept.

We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for enthusiastic, motivated and talented individuals to build a career working for one of Europe\xe2\x80\x99s largest housing associations. Alongside providing general needs housing, Clarion also delivers support services to some of the most vulnerable people in society. The role of Support Officer whilst challenging at times, is an extremely rewarding one.

Who are we looking for?

You\xe2\x80\x99ll have experience working with vulnerable adults who have additional needs e.g. mental health and / or sub misuse issues, offending history, disabilities. An excellent understanding of the safeguarding of vulnerable adults and a thorough understanding of the wider statutory and non- statutory services available to them is also essential.

As a Support Officer, you\'ll work alongside colleagues in supported housing or outreach services in Kent. Working for Clarion as part of the Kent team you will be delivering exceptional support services to our customers.
