You don\'t need experience in care as a Support Worker or qualifications to start your career with us, we recruit on values and transferrable skills. We\'ll pay you for your training and give you all the skills you\'ll need. We\'ll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) and SSSC yearly registration fees too!

The Role

You\'ll become part of one of our fun, friendly and dedicated teams who provide support individuals with various support needs within their own homes. There\'s never a dull moment, every day is different!

As a Support Practitioner. you\'ll support and assist the people we support with all aspects of daily living, including cooking and preparing meals, personal care, administering medication and managing personal finances. We\'re also looking for you to be enthusiastic and creative when supporting with their hobbies which include karaoke, arts and crafts, live music, going for walks and to the shops along with many more activities.

  • An understanding of the importance of routines and following guidelines
  • Confidence in the use of computers
Shift Patterns

We provide tailored support across our Community and Housing Support services, so shift patterns would involve early mornings, days, evenings, weekends and public holidays. Some of our roles will also include sleepovers and/or waking nights.

Our sleepover shifts do not form part of your contracted hours, so you will receive an additional payment of \xc2\xa387 for an 8 hour sleepover or \xc2\xa398 for a 9 hour sleepover. Waking nights are paid at your hourly rate plus and additional \xc2\xa320 per night.

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy. If you\'re successful in joining our team, we will need you to register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting your employment with us.
