About the role



Enabling a young lady with Cerebral Palsy who is studying her BA Business and Management at the UHI at the Inverness Student Halls. Your role will involve developing a relationship of trust with the young lady and her team, 'being the hands' to bridge the gap between disability, achievement, and independence, and providing a person-centred approach to promote and empower choice. Full training provided.

Main duties and responsibilities



Forming and maintaining a healthy, professional, and trusting relationship with both the young lady and the team

. Providing a Person-Led Approach, listening and following direction

Supporting with studying and education, including scribing and competent use of common software

. Enabling Independent Living

.Supporting hobbies including swimming, cycling, gym and voluntary work

Competent use of equipment, including power chairs, plinth, hoists & slings, Mac book, iPad

Assistance in personal care, including eating and drinking

Participating in diverse range of training, including moving and assisting, healthy working relationships, physiotherapy sessions, and Cerebral Palsy information sessions

Pay and work schedule



Hourly rate of 13.25 waking hour

.Part time available

Options for permanent and fixed term contracts

Common shift patterns include: 6-8hr shifts, between 8am-9.30pm

Working Days - Monday - Sunday
