The Role
We are seeking a dedicated entry-level Support Services Technician to join our committed team in Chatteris.
In this role, you will be responsible for handling the daily receipt and registration of samples, managing client enquiries, and ensuring all processes are carried out in accordance with GMP, our group quality management, and health and safety procedures. Training will be provided, so no prior experience is required, just a keen eye for detail, enthusiasm to learn, and a commitment to high standards.

Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Working Hours: Sunday 09:00-18:00, Monday-Thursday 12:00-21:00
Annual Salary: 25,834
The day to day
Open and cross-check incoming samples against client paperwork.
Handle incoming calls related to the receipt of samples.
Register samples accurately onto the ALIMS system.
Transfer samples within ALS as required.
Sub-contract samples to QM-approved laboratories.
Manage sample storage, retention, and disposal, and receipt of deliveries.
The Essentials
Keen eye for detail and a careful, methodical approach.
Flexible approach to meet client needs and changing priorities.
Strong communication skills and the ability to follow procedures.
Basic IT skills including Excel, Outlook, Word, and internet use.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to learn, with training provided to develop the required skills.
