Position: Support Staff (Collection / Delivery Car Driver, Car Washing, Electric Vehicle Safety Support)

Contract: Zero Hours
Hours per week: Variable
Hourly Rate: 12.21ph.

Taylor's Service Centres and Taylor's Select Used Cars is an established (35 years), independent vehicle repair, service and used car sales centre based in Great Dunmow, Essex and is an Approved Service Centre for both Jaguar Land Rover and Renault. Other premium vehicle brands include, Merecedes-Benz, BMW, Audi & VW.

The Role:

Taylor's Support Staff roles are diverse and play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth running of a safe and customer focused operation, allowing other staff to focus on their core responsibilities.

Duties will include driving both customer and courtesy car vehicles to/form various locations, forecourt duties, assisting within the car washing bays and offering Electric Vehicle (EV) Safety Support when required (training provided), plus any other duties as and when required.

Responsibilities

Support Staff

are responsible for ensuring that their work is done in a safe, professional, and timely manner. Driving / ensuring the safe movement of both customer and company vehicles, as required to meet the needs of the business. The safe parking, collection, vehicle movements and driving of all vehicles. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the car park Assist and advise customers wherever possible. Assist in vehicle courtesy car wash and vehicle preparation Upsell and promote additional services where applicable

Required Skills

Be an experienced car driver. Minimum 10 years driving experience due to driving prestige, high value vehicles and insurance requirements. Posses a full UK driving license, preferably clean. Excellent face-to-face communication skills to interact effectively with customers Professional, smart, clean and tidy personal appearence. Able to meet deadlines and have the ability to prioritise your workload. Good organisitonational skills. Be a strong team player Have a flexible approach to the needs of the variable needs of the business Experienced in delivering high customer service. Be able to provide a 'good first impression'.
