Summary

We are seeking Support Staff to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by providing compassionate care and support tailored to their individual needs.

Responsibilities

Provide direct support to the people we support in daily living activities Assist with personal care and hygiene needs Administer medication as prescribed and monitor health conditions Engage the people we support in meaningful activities that promote well-being Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop care plans Maintain accurate records of progress and incidents Ensure a safe and clean living environment Uphold the values and mission of Camphill Devon in all interactions.

Qualifications

Proven experience in caregiving or similar roles Strong understanding of patient care principles, including medication administration Experience with assisted living or nursing home settings is preferred Knowledge of dementia and other related conditions is advantageous Excellent communication skills and empathy towards residents Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment First aid certification is a plus. Flexibility to adapt to changing needs of our people.
