We are recruiting a

Team Leader

for our

Support 2 Succeed (S2S)

programme - a vital, externally funded service helping Greater Manchester residents furthest from the labour market to re-engage, upskill and progress.

We are recruiting for this role on a fixed-term basis, with a contract ending on 31st March 2026

About the Role




S2S supports economically inactive individuals aged 19+, including those aged over 50, who face complex challenges to employment. As Team Leader, you'll manage and motivate a small team to meet performance targets, deliver meaningful outcomes, and support participants into positive destinations such as further training, volunteering, or employment.


You'll drive high performance, compliance and quality, develop effective partnerships, and represent WCHG and the programme across the region.

Key Responsibilities



Lead, support and coach the S2S team (Keyworker, Community Engagement Coach, Administrator) Deliver team and individual performance targets and KPIs Oversee programme delivery, ensuring high standards and positive participant experiences Engage and collaborate with local partners, referral agencies, and Greater Manchester networks Maintain accurate, compliant records and outcome evidence Monitor budget and performance in line with programme requirements Identify improvement opportunities and support service innovation Deputise for the Operations Manager at internal and external meetings as required

What You'll Bring



Experience leading employment support, welfare-to-work or community-based programmes Strong people management skills and a motivational leadership style Excellent communication, organisational and partnership-building skills Confidence using digital systems and data to manage caseloads and performance Understanding of barriers to work for economically inactive individuals Knowledge of local support services and signposting pathways Commitment to equality, safeguarding, and participant-centred delivery Flexible approach - including some travel and occasional out-of-hours commitments
