Overview:

We are seeking dedicated Home Support Workers to join our team in providing compassionate care to people in our community. It is a requirement for this position for you

to be able to drive and have your own reliable vehicle

. Experience is not essential since you will be provided with full training and on-going support.

Responsibilities:

Provide support with personal care, hygiene and any other health needs. Administer or prompt medication when required. Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation and domestic tasks. Encourage sufficient hydration and nutrition. Engage in activities to promote well-being and independence.

Support

: Access to support is available during all hours, 1 to 1 supervisions and regular staff meetings to build on team work and working relations. Free counselling can be accessible through a self-referral.

Schedule:

4pm to 10pm Days of work will depend on availability and preferred hours. Please note that some availability at a weekend is required.
It is expected that you are able to cover for holidays and sickness where possible. There is the possibility of working with other Service Users if you would like to increase your hours.

Successful applicants will be subject to an Enhanced DBS Check including the Barred Lists and suitable references.
