We'd like you to join us as a Support Worker at our Whalley Road service.


We are close to local amenities and have multiple transport links on our doorstep.


Whalley Road is a specialist residential home providing nursing care, support and rehabilitation to adults with a mental illness or learning disability. Our team is committed to supporting our residents to be independent, confident and resilient.

What you'll be working:

Full time hours - 37.5 hours per week. 24,297 per annum. Long days including evenings and weekends. Both days & night shifts available. 12.5 hour shifts.

What you'll be doing:

Build relationships with the people we support, which are open and two way Support to undertake their rehabilitation programme Establish methods of communication with the people we support, reducing barriers when necessary Support with activities of daily living and personal care when needed Communicate any issues to the clinical team Accurately report and/or record work activities

What you'll have:

A genuine interest in providing the best person centre care possible The ability to communicate effectively at all levels Experience working within the care sector / mental health would be an advantage but not essential Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS
