The role of the Support Worker/Carer is an opportunity for a pro-active person to join an evolving Care Company. We are looking for dedicated and empathetic people. The support team will provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower the people we support to achieve their goals and aspirations.



The team will be inducted and trained in anticipation of supporting people in their own homes. The people we support require support around their daily living skills, health needs and will have a range of physical and/or learning disabilities.



We require a Support Team who is empathetic and non-judgmental, someone who has experience in behaviour that can be challenging.

About you





Are you enthusiastic, compassionate and committed to supporting people in a way which respects their dignity?



Experience of supporting people with learning disabilities and/or complex care is preferred but all training will be provided.

The role



To provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower the people we support to achieve their goals and aspirations, respecting everyone's individuality and enabling them to make appropriate choices to live the life they wish, in line with their individual support plans. Promote the health, well-being, physical, emotional, cultural and spiritual beliefs of the people we support and ensure they are met in an inclusive way. Facilitating social, educational or work activities such as visiting family and friends, walks, shopping and other recreational activities of their choice. General housekeeping duties that can include shopping, domestic duties as well as, possibly, elements of personal care. As part of the role, you will need to be able to complete a range of records and documents. Due to the specific nature of the role, we are only able to consider female Support Workers for this position. A UK valid driving licence is an essential requirement if you wish to apply for this role.

About The Service




Supporting people in their own homes to live an independent life within their community. We provide a number of community support packages for people with learning disabilities and autism. We promote full involvement of the families, who are involved in the recruitment and selection of staff to ensure the best fit for the people they will be supporting.
