Job Summary


We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential care and support to individuals in need, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role involves assisting service users with daily living activities, promoting independence, and enhancing their quality of life. The Support Worker will work closely with service users, their families, and other healthcare professionals to deliver personalised care tailored to each individual's needs.

Responsibilities



Assist service users with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Provide meal preparation and support with nutrition to ensure service users maintain a healthy diet. Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of service users. Facilitate activities that promote social interaction and engagement for service users. Assist with medication management as directed by healthcare professionals. Support service users with mobility and physical activities, ensuring safety at all times. Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in condition to the appropriate personnel. Drive service users to appointments or social outings as needed.

Experience



Previous experience in care at home or similar roles is preferred. Knowledge of first aid practices is advantageous. A caring attitude with a strong commitment to supporting individuals in need. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with service users and their families.
