Female Personal Assistant Support worker required

Various shifts available to be discussed at interview.

Looking for an interesting and rewarding job based near Ayr, South Ayrshire.

Casual post, but potentially up to 16hrs per week available

Are you a good listener? A helpful, outgoing, enthusiastic female with a "can do" and "happy to help" attitude? A chatty, cheerful, person who likes interacting with others?

Someone who is utterly dependable, honest, and able to think on her feet?

If you think you have the above attributes, this job, which is based in Ayr, could be perfect. The role is a Personal Assistant to a lively, outgoing, female wheelchair user, who is very active and sociable.

She is looking for a number of Female Personal Care Assistants to help her with a variety of everyday tasks and activities, both domestic, personal and social. In other words, to be an assistant, facilitator and champion. Someone once described this role as, imagine if your best mate broke both legs and needed your assistance. You would both have a laugh figuring out the best way to help her.

She is a very outgoing 30-something-year-old woman who enjoys live music, arts and crafts, and gardening, and just like most young women, likes to go out and socialise, meet new people, try new things and explore new places.

You will also assist her in various creative projects. Over lockdown, she found the love of painting and has a few of her art pieces in a local shop. She always gets new, fun creative ideas that she shares on her artist tiktok videos. One of many, of your roles will be to assist her in these adventures.

In this job, it is very important that you both have some similar interests, enjoy the same sort of things, like each other and get on well together.

The hours are very flexible and can fit around other commitments. No previous experience or formal qualifications are required as all necessary training will be provided. However, a willingness to listen and learn is vitally important.

Looking for someone who is highly motivated, with a "can do" attitude, and has an outgoing friendly helpful personality.

Hourly rate 12.60 with a wide range of hours available, employer flexible , willing to discuss further at interview stage.

Will also be required to help out when other staff are off on Annual or sick.

Successful applicants will be required to undergo a new or update of the PVG disclosure scheme and provide 2 up to date reference contacts

There will be a 6 month probationary period attached to this post, which will be advised to you if you are successful. The position can be terminated by either party by giving 1 weeks' notice.
