Part time 21 hours per week. Occasional hours are also available.

Shift working patterns are: 8am-3am, 3pm-10pm. Nights-10pm-8am.

Basic hourly rate - \xc2\xa310.74 per hour, up to \xc2\xa311.74 per hour with enhancement.

A night enhancement of \xc2\xa31.00 per hour will apply from 8pm to 7am Monday \xe2\x80\x93 Thursday (this does not apply to sleep-ins). A weekend enhancement of \xc2\xa31.00 per hour will be paid from 8pm Friday to 7am Monday (this does not apply to sleep-ins). This will be implemented on a trial basis.

As a Support Worker/Healthcare Assistant with Leonard Cheshire you\xe2\x80\x99ll provide a high level of care and support to vulnerable people, enabling them to live the life they choose. You\xe2\x80\x99ll assist with daily tasks including personal care, medication and assistance at mealtimes, motivating and encouraging choice and participation.

Experience as a Support Worker, Care Assistant or Healthcare Assistant is desirable but not essential as we offer an excellent training and induction programme to get you fully trained in your new role!
