Duties

Assist service users with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility. Administering or supporting with the ordering of medication as prescribed and ensure compliance with care plans. Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering a positive environment. Implement care plans tailored to individual needs and preferences. Perform manual handling tasks when required, ensuring the safety of both the service user and yourself. Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery. Participate in training sessions to stay updated on best practices in senior care and medical terminology.
Skills:

- Experience in caregiving or related fields such as childcare, assisted living, dementia care, supported living, senior care, or patient care
- Knowledge of first aid and basic medical procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient nature
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
