Agency Support Worker



Overview


We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants and Support Workers to join our team. The ideal candidates will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in a range of different services within care homes for elderly, younger adults with Learning disability and Children's services depending on your experience. These positions require effective communication skills and the ability to follow care plans while ensuring the well-being of those we serve.

Responsibilities



Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management. Implement and follow individual care plans tailored to each client's needs. Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in their condition. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to care. Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering a positive environment. Understanding of the SSSC Code of Conduct Epilepsy Training and awareness ( ideal buccal midazolam training)

Skills



6 Months experience in a Care Home or Care Service setting is essential. Proficient in English, both spoken and written, to facilitate clear communication with clients and colleagues. Ability to drive and hold a valid driving licence. Basic IT skills for maintaining records and using care management software. Strong understanding of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. A compassionate approach with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
