Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential care and support to individuals in , in their home. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for those we serve, ensuring their comfort and dignity while assisting with daily activities.

Duties

MUST BE A DRIVER Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Assist with medication management and ensure adherence to prescribed care plans. Help with household tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry as required. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client conditions to the appropriate personnel. Provide social care such as talking/listening to clients, shopping or partake in different activities.

Skills

Experience in care settings such as hospice care, dementia care, or nursing homes is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with physical mobility. A caring attitude towards individuals requiring home care or childcare support. Flexibility to adapt to varying client needs and schedules. Basic understanding of health and safety regulations within a care environment.
