Job Description

Job Title: Support Worker

You will be working on a 1-1 basis.

Responsibilities:

- Provide support and physical assistance to the servive user.

-Assist with personal care as instructed by the service user in a sensitive and dignified manner.

-Maintain the domestic environment to the required standard, ensuring regard is given to health and safety and hygiene.

-Assist in the preparation of meals (and shopping for these).

-If required, under my direction, supervise and/or assist in the administration of prescribed medication.

-Support the service user out into the community for social activities if he wishes to do so.

- Ensure the safety and well-being of the individual at all times.

Requirements:

- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Compassionate and patient demeanor
