We provide healthcare staff to a wide variety of establishments, such as care, nursing or residential homes, private hospitals, supported living facilities and outpatient centres. We are regional providers of temporary and permanent employment solutions for businesses in need of nurses, support workers, carers and healthcare assistants

Responsibilities: - Provide support and assistance to individuals with various needs in a home care or assisted living setting - Assist with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation - Administer medications according to prescribed instructions - Monitor and document changes in clients' health or behavior - Implement behavior management strategies to promote a safe and supportive environment - Provide companionship and emotional support to clients - Assist with light housekeeping tasks and maintain a clean and organized living space - Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting if required - Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure the best care for clients Requirements: - Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in senior care or dementia care - Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies - First aid certification is required - Ability to administer medications accurately and safely - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with individuals with diverse needs - Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including heavy lifting if necessary Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.25 per hour
