Support Worker



Hours: Various - Day or Night shift available 8am to 8pm or 8pm to 8am

Are you compassionate, proactive, and ready to help young people take confident steps toward independent living? We're looking for a warm, organised Support Worker to join our team and make a lasting impact on young people and adults with care experience, disabilities, or complex needs.

What you'll be doing:



In this varied and meaningful role, you'll coach young people through essential life skills from budgeting and cooking to managing routines and understanding tenancy responsibilities. You'll offer emotional support, help build confidence, and encourage resilience, all while ensuring a safe, homely and welcoming environment.

You'll be able to spot and respond to safeguarding concerns Create support and safety plans Help young people access education, training, and employment opportunities Support with CVs, job searches and interviews Build links with local colleges, employers and community groups Encourage healthy support networks and reduce social isolation Work collaboratively with families, social workers and other professionals

What you'll bring to the role:



Level 3+ in Health & Social Care, Youth Work, Counselling or similar (or willing to obtain this within 18 months of joining) At least 12 months' experience supporting vulnerable young people or adults Strong safeguarding knowledge Great communication skills (both verbal and written) and the ability to build trust Confidence using IT systems for reporting and case notes A positive attitude, empathy, flexibility, and commitment to helping others thrive Ability to travel independently

Pay: 23,156.00-23,718.50 per year

Expected hours: 20 - 36 per week
