We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential care and assistance to individuals in various settings, including senior care, childcare, and home care environments. Responsibilities

Provide personal care support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Assist with mobility and heavy lifting as required, ensuring the safety of clients during transfers. Support clients with medication management and adherence to prescribed healthcare plans. Engage in behaviour management techniques to support individuals with challenging behaviours. Facilitate social interaction and recreational activities to promote mental well-being. Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Collaborate effectively with other healthcare providers, including nurses and therapists, to deliver comprehensive care. Uphold the dignity and respect of all clients while fostering a supportive environment.

Requirements

Previous experience required. Knowledge of hospice care practices is an advantage. Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with physical mobility needs. A caring attitude with a genuine desire to help others lead fulfilling lives. Relevant qualifications in health and Social care delivered.
