Pay rates:

We pay an excellent hourly rate of 13.06 per hour.

Working times:

Day shifts - 7:30am to 7:30pm Night shifts - 19:30 to 07:30

Contracted hours:

We offer 42 and 48 hours per week contracts. All staff work alternative weekends to make it fair for everyone and to provide the BEST continuity of care.

We are a healthcare provider located in Birmingham, West Midlands with speciality in providing residential care homes for young people across the United Kingdom. We are committed to providing high quality, safe and personalised services that promotes positive outcomes, dignity and quality of life at the same time paying particular attention to the young person's wishes and choices.

We support young people who are transitioning from children's services to adult services (16- 24 yrs).

Act Care provides unparalleled personalised, therapeutic care and support that is administered by a multidisciplinary team of highly trained and professional staff members who ensures that the young persons within our care are empowered to develop social, emotional, and the functional skills they need to live life independently.

Our person-centred care packages are developed in partnership with the young person, their support network and community team to ensure that all identified needs are met, thereby promoting independence.

Carers are supported by our experienced management team, who provide ongoing training and support. The team includes a Registered Care Manager who is closely involved with front line staff and clients.

What kind of care do we offer?



Those with mental health diagnosis who require 24hr support due to their complex needs and/or behaviours. Mild / Complex learning Difficulties Emotional Behavioural Disorders (EBD) Self -Harm Autism / Aspergers Syndrome Attachment Disorders Tatton - Brown Syndrome Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Oppositional defiant disorder (ODD) Dyspraxia Multiple Placement Breakdowns Suffering from crisis or trauma etc.

Essential criteria:



You're a positive person who sees optimism in every situation. Flexible Level NVQ level 2 in health and social care (children's or adults) or similar Knowledgeable Eager to learn You show a professional manner at all times. Friendly attitude towards all staff and clients. Drivers are preferable but we will also hire non drivers with an excellent work ethic. Previous experience in care, working with complex behaviours is highly desirable We do not offer sponsorship. You're able to work alternative weekends (this makes it fair for all staff).
